For its seventh year the Ballydehob Country Music Festival will offer huge names in Irish Country music, a fantastic bar trail of live entertainment, and outdoor music for all the family.

Ballydehob, West Cork, Ireland
Friday 29th May – Monday 1st June, 2020

Dancing will feature heavily again this year with two of Ireland’s biggest country stars crooning the dance floor.

Gerry Guthrie is one of Ireland’s foremost headlining country acts and 2019 was one of his busiest years since the formation of his band. His ongoing success enables him to perform at premier venues and big events across the country and indeed in the UK, Scotland and at guest spots abroad. Highly acclaimed and well-known across Ireland, he will play Ballydehob Community Hall on Saturday 30th May at 11:00 p.m. Tickets are €15.00 each. Supported by Two Mikes & Family Ties taking to the stage at 9:00 p.m.

John Glenn and The Mainliners have enjoyed hugely successful music careers and we’re delighted to welcome them to Ballydehob Country Music Festival.

John first joined The Mainliners over forty years ago and was frontman from ’75 to ’78. Reunited again in 2018, and with their enduring popularity and ability to recreate the atmosphere of earlier times, they are now in demand all over the country. An institution in Irish country music, the present line-up maintains the high quality set by their illustrious predecessors as they bring their own particular brand of lively, fast-paced music to the stage accompanied by a selection of 60’s standards.

John & The Mainliners will play Ballydehob Community Hall on Sunday 31st May at 11:00 p.m. Tickets are €15.00 each. Supported by Two Mikes & Family Ties taking to the stage at 9:00 p.m.

There is a free weekend bar trail with Eddie Carey, Sabrina Fallon, Bernie Heaney, Shaun Loughrey and more, providing great entertainment in venues around the village, and there will be live music, dance and barbecue, as well as a country wedding, at the pier at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.

We would like to thank our major sponsors Failte Ireland, Pure Cork, Cork County Council and Heineken for their continued support, and also express our great appreciation for the support we receive from local fans of the festival. Funding also comes from small events throughout the year and we’d like to remind people that this year’s raffle will be a major source of finance. The efforts by the committee have again ensured some lovely prizes.
