Dancing will feature heavily again this year with some of Ireland’s biggest country stars crooning the dance floor.
Effie Neill, one of the rising stars of the Irish country music scene, launched her nationwide musical career in 2023 and she has been going from strength to strength since winning the Cowboys & Heroes singing competition in the same year.
She subsequently recorded her single Country Is Best and the track has resonated with listeners as it surpasses in excess of 100k plays online. With exposure and support from The Hot Country TV Show, Effie’s audience has expanded as her voice is heard beyond these shores.
Taking to the stage on Friday, 1st May, and performing with the Barry Doyle Band, this will be Effie’s first time at the Ballydehob Country Music Festival and we can’t wait to welcome her to the village.

Highly acclaimed and well-known across Ireland, he will play Ballydehob Community Hall on Sunday 2nd June at 11:00 p.m. Tickets are €15.00 each.
There is a free weekend bar trail with Stacey Breen, Eddie Carey, Shaun Loughrey, Shane Moore, Dee Morrissey and Ger Healy (The Singing Jarvey) providing great entertainment in venues around the village, and there will be a western style wedding on Sunday 2nd at 2:30pm at the Old Bank House.
